Jessica Des Lauriers worked directly with snake breeder Christian Gonzales planning the irresponsible, unethical transport of 323 small prey animals. Des Lauriers failed to vet the “rescue” the animals were sent to and later after the transport, approving and watching Christian Gonzales load the animals into vans on their death ride. 18 1/2 hours of fear and stress in this cruel and unethical transport.
Due to those facts, 323 small prey animals ended up with Colten Jones/The Fertile Turtle, python breeder/small animal breeder and seller of small pets for live and frozen feeders. Thereafter, 260+ animals remained missing and were stated to be cruelly fed alive to snakes (crushed and suffocated), unethically killed and frozen for reptile food or used in breeding for both.
Aug 31, Des Lauriers full well knew the animals were planned to go to “one” rescue as she stated in the news, but the lies continued. SDHS failed and betrayed 323 animals that came in under municipal contracts and are now failing to be transparent by denying public records for the emails between Des Lauriers and Gonzales. Accountability is in order for Des Lauriers, is CEO Weitzman covering for her?
