Under the watch of CEO Gary Weitzman, Jessica Des Lauriers planned the unethical, irresponsible transport of 323 small prey animals and failed to vet the “rescue” the animals were sent to. Due to these facts the animals ended up with Colten Jones/The Fertile Turtle, python breeder and breeder and seller of small pets for live and frozen feeders.
After learning the animals were in danger early on, Weitzman did not demand the animals back to safety nor has he/SDHS filed animal cruelty charges on Christian Gonzalez/Steve Farley nor have they filed fraud complaint with the Attorney General.
